Stainless Steel Welding
We are going to go out on a limb here and say when most people thing welding they think steel. We have had a lot of conversations around the best type of steel for your project, think stainless steel versus carbon steel. Typically, customers who are looking to weld on stainless steel are looking for material that is resistant to corrosion or rust.
Stainless steel welding is very similar to welding on standard carbon with just a few exceptions. All our welders are AWS (American Welding Society) certified which means they have been trained on the proper precautions to take with the different materials in the industry. In the event we have been asked to weld on a unique stainless combination, we will consult our in-house, certified AWS Quality Assurance Manager for proper procedures. The past 45 years have given us a lot of unique projects, but we most commonly weld on stainless steel for large industrial tanks used in chemical or food processes.
